  • Yorkies: The Yorkshire Terrier, (often called simply the Yorkie), is a breed of small dog in the terrier category. The long-haired terrier is known for its playful demeanor and distinctive blue and tan coat. Yorkies can be very small, usually weighing not more than 7 pounds (3.18 kg); the standard of this breed does not mention the minimum weight accepted nor does it specify a height.[5] Based on registrations of the American Kennel Club, Yorkshire Terriers became the second most popular dog breed in the United States in 2006, trailing only the Labrador Retriever.

  • Morkies: The Morkie is a designer dog (not mixed-breed) that is a combination of the Maltese and Yorkshire Terrier breeds. Although variations exist, generally the Morkie takes on the appearance of both breeds that it hails from. Usually the Morkie will have a dark appearance from the Yorkie but where the Yorkie is brown/gold, the Morkie will be white (from the Maltese). Morkies make excellent companions. They tend to get along quite well with children and other animals. Although variations can exist from dog to dog (as with any other dog), the Morkie combines the good health of the Maltese with the ease of use and colorings of the Yorkie.

  • Malt-A-Poos: A Malt-A-Poo (also known as a maltipoo, moodle, and malti-doodle), is a mixed-breed dog bred from Poodle and Maltese parents.The dog naturally exhibits characteristics from each of its parents. A particular advantage maltepoos are said is a consistently small amount or lack of shedding, due to both parents being low shedders.

Hi Lisa!
I bought a female morkie from you in May and wanted to send you some updated pics! She's made the change from being a country girl to a city girl in NYC! Her name is Bella Grace and she will be 18 weeks old this Friday. She goes to puppy play groups and loves playing with the other pups in the dog park! She is completely potty trained and has become quite the young lady.
